The annual Spring Trade Fair at Knoppieslaagte, Midrand was held last week Wednesday -17 August. The big day arrived!! Wednesday morning, although very cold and tired, we were at the office before 06:00, setting up the registration area and checking final details. Everything was ready, stands were looking stunning and we were just waiting for visitors to arrive. On arrival they were greeted with the big smiles and friendly faces of our students and staff members at the registration area.

We had a record total of 1036 people at our show!

With 121 exhibitors, visitors were spoilt for choice and the products on display were top quality – everything a garden centre needs were on display – making shopping for the season easy and convenient.

As per tradition, exhibitors stands were judged and our two judges, Jan van Blerk of Greenside and Lizzie Altenroxel of Greener Tidings, decided that top honours should go to:

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the SANA Spring Trade Fair on 18 August. We had 105 exhibitors and the show was attended by 745 people. The weather was in our favour and we were treated to a lovely warm spring day. Visitors were welcomed by beautiful, creative and colourful stands - thank you to all exhibitors for your effort.
